Re: eggs...I completely agree with what you wrote but it was interesting to think that this was completely the OPPOSITE of what I was told growing up. "The egg white is less fattening...don't eat the yolk." I was glad you mentioned the recent studies on the link between high cholesterol as it was something I had actually wondered the other day. I do eat a lot of eggs but since I push myself hard physically never worried about it.
